Facilitè, a painting of brightness and light, is a reproduction which will appropriately decorate interiors such as a ballet or dance studio or your bedroom or living room, adding exclusivity to the space. La facilitè in French means “lightness”. What could better convey this quality than a ballerina, a symbol of elegant grace? Facilitè is portrayed in two dimensions: the physical body is separated from the soul, the spiritual state. Bodily lightness is created by the image of a dancer; she is tired from exertion, having expended her energy while maintaining grace and continuing to dream. Bright transparent colours provide the picture with a feeling of spiritual lightness.
Facilitè is one of the artist’s first paintings. It was painted on canvas in 2010 at the very beginning of the path of creation. The work was dedicated to the group exhibition Colour – Mood – Symbol, at the White Gallery in Kaunas. Later, this work was exhibited at Agne Kisonaite's personal exhibition Red is Not Blue in Vilnius and Klaipeda, and reproductions hung at the Michaelson Boutique Hotel and The Bubbles. Champagneria. Agne mentions that it is specifically this piece that encouraged her to undertake reproduction of her paintings. After Facilitè was bought in 2011, at least a dozen more buyers desired to purchase it.
The quality of the reproduction is exceptional – to create the print, the original painting is photographed with special technique and the photo transferred onto extremely high-quality paper. All reproductions are signed by the author.
