Art installation National Concert Hall
I made the installation “National Concert Hall” (142 × 67 × 12 cm, 2026) for Vilniaus vystymo kompanija, based on the architectural models of the new National Concert Hall being built on Tauras Hill in Vilnius. The hall is still under construction; the installation is finished and on display in the client’s office. It joins old and new: many people still remember the Trade Union Palace that stood on Tauras Hill before it was demolished, and are eagerly waiting for the concert hall to open. The base is an old window. A painted plywood openwork follows the lines of the future facade, and I interpret contemporary music through a composition of cut-up compact discs, lit from behind with LEDs.
